I recently moved to the crazy state of Maryland in Annapolis. I was driving to work yesterday and I saw 2 classic cars headed into town. I thought nothing of it, but then today as I was driving to work, I saw like 9 in a row. So there has to be a car show, but I can’t find anything on ze Googles. Anyone know?

Annapolis is full of people that own houses and boats and also very expensive cars. It’s not just some city in Maryland - there’s a $5M house for sale on Gibson island right now. I’ve seen older Aston Martins, tons of Porsches, and a few handfuls of Ferraris in and around Annapolis over the years, and with the popularity of Cars & Coffee Annapolis these guys like to bring their toys out every Sunday. They also could have been headed over to the Naval Academy or across the bridge as well.

1 or 2 cars here or there...sure...but this was 9 in a row, 2 days in a row of different cars. That seems like there is a show happening somewhere I am oblivious too.

Hmm. We the Annapolis Car Show isn’t for another few months. Maybe they’re on tour or something?

There’s a gigantic carshow/meetup happening in Ocean City all weekend. Starts today, ends on Sunday.

Oh, they must be driving through Annapolis to get there. Got it. Thanks.
Paul Jones...pretty sure there is a John Paul Jones buried here.

Indeed. John Paul Jones, considered the Father of the American Navy, is interred beneath the chapel of the Naval Academy. He’s the source behind my name.
I would recommend going to Ocean City this weekend if you’re in Annapolis. There are a lot of great cars, and it’s quite a bit of fun.
